In the upcoming movie, Emma Watson is introduced as Belle, who is shown entering a long deserted castle. Disney released the one and a half minute long, first teaser trailer of the live-action adaptation of Beauty And The Beast.
The trailer begins with the grandeur of the castle fading as the we hear the ticking sound of a clock. Disney revives the hit animation series into a musical. With background score playing, we hear two voices as the door cracks open.
"Look a girl...", the first voice exclaims.
"I can see its a girl you fool...", the second voice replies.
"What if she is the one...", the first voice retorts.
Director Bill Condon's film also stars Dan Stevens as the Beast; Luke Evans as Gaston; Kevin Kline as Belle's father Maurice; Josh Gad as Le Fou; Hattie Morahan as Agathe the Enchantress; Ewan McGregor as Lumiere; Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts; Ian McKellen as Cogsworth; Stanley Tucci as Cadenza; Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Babette and Audra McDonald as the Wardrobe.
The film's music is composed by Alan Menken, who won two Oscars for his work on the Disney's 1991 animated film, along with three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice.
The film is scheduled to hits screens on March 17, 2017.
