Michael Fassbender has teamed up with director Justin Kurzel for the big screen adaptation of the popular video game Assassin's Creed.
In the newly-released trailer of the much-awaited film, the audience gets to see spine-chilling stunt scenes. It seems like Justin Kurzel has brought the video game to life. According to producers 20th Century Fox, the film's synopsis is "a revolutionary technology that unlocks Callum Lynch's (Michael Fassbender) genetic memories, and he experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain.
"Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day."
The film also stars Oscar winner Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons in lead roles.
The film is slated to hit the screens on December 21, 2016.
