Matt Damon has once again returned to his best-known role in the fifth instalment of the Bourne franchise, titled Jason Bourne.

After taking a back seat in the fourth instalment and letting Jeremy Renner take the wheel in 2012, Matt Damon is back as Jason Bourne. Damon is in full of vengeance mode as he has discovered his true 'identity' (atleast he thinks so) in the official trailer of Jason Bourne.
The sequel, which is set to release on July 29, re-teams Damon with director Paul Greengrass, who helmed The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum, reported variety.com. The film is written by Paul Greengrass and Christopher Rouse.
It's been nine years since Bourne appeared on the big screen. The upcoming instalment marks the fifth film in the franchise after The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum and The Bourne Legacy.

"We've been hacked, could be worse than Snowden," an operative warns at one point in the trailer.
The action film also stars Julia Stiles, Alicia Vikander and Tommy Lee Jones.
