Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's Tamasha had small fall on  its second Friday at India Box Office

1.72 Crore nett Trade Figure

53.46 Crore nett Producer Figure for 7 days

Overseas:
$4.45 Million or Rs 29.66 Crores

On its second friday  Tamasha went down by  25% from Thursday which is fairly decent.

Hate Story didn't effect Tamsha drastically since it collected in single screens while tamasha was better in multiplexes of metros

1.) Tamasha  is 10th highest opening week collections of 2015 behind Bajrangi Bhaijaan, PRDP, Welcome Back, ABCD 2,Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Brothers, Gabbar is Back ,Singh is Bliing and Dil Dhadakne Do

2.) This is third highest first week in Ranbir Kapoor's career after Yeh Jawani Hain Deewani and Barfi

India:

Tamasha at best will be considered an average  or a flop and has lost many of its screens to Hate Story 3 in its week 2 which will bring down the second week number sharply.

Ranbir Kapoor has gotten initial success through made for multiplexes movies but post YJHD he had entered the big league .

 This has meant that his salary levels moved to 20 crore levels and his movies budget also increased  but those same directors are not able to do justice to him even at higher costs

India: 2100 screens , Overseas: 571 screens

Tamasha Budget:

Total: 75 Crores

Tamasha has a Production Budget of 60 Crores and prints and advertising budget of 15 Crores

Tamasha was sold by Producer Sajid Nadiadwala to UTV as part of a 3 picture deal also containing Phantom and Tiger Shroff's next Baaghi. The total deal was rumoured to be valued at approximately 200 crores minimum guarantee.
