Shaandar is now dropping continuously  . Drop between Tuesday and Wednesday is 15%

Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt 's Shaandar had a huge crash on Monday at india box office.

Shaandar had a biggest crash of 2015 on Monday when it crashed 83% from its day 1 which was a holiday.

If compared to Friday crash was still 72% on Monday

Monday numbers is almost same as Phantom 's last disaster Bombay Velvet which also collected around 2 crores on its first Monday.

However in case of Bombay velvet it had a low opening day as nobody gave it a chance for success but Shaandar had gotten a big double digit opening which was also the 7th highest of 2015 that means this crash is even more disappointing.

The trend is similar to last year's besharam which also came crashing down on bad word of mouth.

In North India Shaandaar 's poor performance helped Pyaar ka punchnaama 2 to do better and now that movie is collecting more than shaandaar especially in Punjab and new Delhi.

Only East india is a little bit better but that is probably only due to durga puja holidays which is bigger on that side.

Shaandaar will end up as another big flop but lower than Bombay velvet as costs are lower.

Budget: 68 Crores inclusive of prints and advertising.

Shaandar has been sold by Phantom again to Fox Star who have bought at a based price of 48 Crores.

Fox Star has themselves spent 20 crores on prints and advertising.

Fox Star has booked satellite and music rights for Rs 27 crores but it need s to cover the remaining cost

It needs a distributor share of 38 crore or box office collections of 76 crore to be called a hit

Shaandaar had a much higher budget which is around 3 times higher than that of Vikas Bahl's last Queen.

Queen's success had happened because of the low budget but Phantom is a mega budget movie
